WinShorts 0.15

WinShorts is a compact Windows launcher from Capitan Software. Keep your favourite programs one click away, tidy up your desktop and taskbar, and reach the Windows tools you use most – all from one small window.

Features

• Home – a 4×4 grid of your favourite programs, sorted automatically by how often you start them. Expand the view up to 16 rows and scroll to the rest.
• Quick add & clean-up – add a program, import your desktop or taskbar icons, and remove duplicates so each program has just one shortcut.
• Shortcuts – direct links to common Windows settings: brightness, mouse pointer, speaker balance, default apps, text size and resolution.
• Scheduler – scheduled Windows shutdown and scheduled start/close of programs, saved in Windows Task Scheduler so they run even when WinShorts is closed.
• Performance – disk space for all drives, startup programs, and closing of idle programs (manually or automatically).
• Explorer – File Explorer tidy-up tools.
• Settings – dark / light mode, launch counter reset, start as administrator automatically or ask first, keep running in the notification area.

Requirements

Windows 10 (version 2004) or Windows 11, 64-bit. No installation or .NET runtime needed – the app is a single self-contained .exe.
